abs & tracs light

Post by angelglo »

my abs and tracs lights have been going on and off the past comple of days. i have been doing some reading on this site and i see that there are problems with the module. can this be the cause of the lights coming on and off? will i have problems driving the car?

thanks

angelglo, this is the way most modules start when they go bad. When the light is on you won't have cruise control function and possibly no speedometer. Get in touch with Victor....you won't be sorry. He rebuilt mine last year including door to door shipping for $140 and I haven't had a problem since. You can drive without the module in your car (though not recommended) but you won't have a speedo, so gauge your RPM's with highway speed if you decide to drive the car without the module in. Best of luck!

Here's Victor's site. Info is there on removing the module. Make sure you have an E5 Torx socket. Don't try to do it with anything else.
