Hi,
I've got a very slow PAS leak that might be coming from the reservoir itself. Do any of you know if this is a typical failure point on the 2010 (P3) model? I know it was for the earlier style (P2) but the configuration is now totally changed and I would have assumed that they fixed that issue...maybe not. Over the space of the last year, I've now had to top up from min line to max line on two occasions. Not the end of the world but I'd prefer to get whatever is leaking fixed.
Why I ask about the reservoir is that there is definitely some indication of minor leaking in and around the reservoir but not obvious sign of exactly where it is coming from.

In general, when there is loss of PS fluid and no apparent leak, I would inspect the bellows on the inner tie-rod ends. When the rack seals start failing, fluid may collect in there. Just squeeze the bellows gently - no need to remove the clamps or disassemble anything.
Example of Precision: Measure with a Micrometer, mark it with Chalk, and then cut it with an Axe.
