Sparkplug Wires

Post by mb »

Where is the best place to buy parts for a Volvo S70 Turbo? I need sparkplug wires.

..And is cylinder 5 the one nearest the distributor with the shortest wire?

Thanks-

Check these vendors out. I personally like to order from fcpgroton or eeuroparts (free shipping after $35): https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/volvo_parts.php

I recommend the bougicord's from FCPgroton. They are the OEM for Volvo and the replacement set is identical to what you get from the dealer.

My advice: Try to return them or throw them in the trash where they belong. The Bosch wires for these cars are of very poor quality and 90% of people that get them, have to replace them within a few thousand miles. I know I made that mistake as well when I first bought the car. The wire just seperates at the boot.

I have heard the same thing, though bosch parts for the most part are good and our volvo's use a lot of them...just not the ignition wires.
