850 GLT rear view mirror

Post by rorlin »

The arm on my r/v mirror suddenly became loose and swivels freely about 2 inches. I assume there are some screws or something to tighten under the cover with the seat belt warning lights. Before I break something, would someone tell me how to get the cowling off without breaking anything. And what screws?bolts I have to tighten? Thanks in advance.

If you pry off the two top lights either side of the mirror you'll find two torx screws underneath ,remove these and the top panel comes off giving you access to the bracket for the rear view mirror. Hope this helps
