I jumped in my 2004 S60 Volvo the other day to find the "plastic" front part of my gear shift had broken off? I never even realized it was plastic or there for that matter. I suppose it is just one of those things you don't even give much thought to until it is lying on the console!!
I tried to piece it back together, it is in three pieces, to no avail.... The "spring" part is still attached. The plastic part, which broke in half and a steel pin approx. 2.5 inches is what came off. Even when I thought I put it together and tried to take it out of park, NO Bueno?
I will admit, I wouldn't try to change the fuel injectors, however, I think I can do this IF I can find out what part to order and the basics of how to do it?
I love my Volvo, only 76,000 miles and in great condition otherwise. Oh, except I do have to have the injectors cleaned or replaced?
