Reset the service indicator model 2002
Who knows how I can reset the serciver indicator of my vovlo S80 model 2002 ???
I had the same problem and found quite a few sites that provided instructions (including some posts on this forum). What eventually worked for me was:
1. Be sure that trip meter is in T1 mode.
2. Turn Ignition key to position I.
3. Press and hold trip meter reset button until mileage resets to 0.0.
4. Turn ignition switch to position II when mileage resets to 0.0.
5. Continue holding trip mileage button until mileage returns to original setting.
6. Release trip meter button.
7. Start car.
Some sites stated that step 5 should occur for 10 seconds--I did not find it effective.
Some sites stated that there should be a "beep-beep" after step 6, but I did not get it.
My advice, if this doesn't work exactly as shown, it to try subtle changes before giving up.
