1996 850 location of diagnotic unit

Hi to all....

have just tried to find the diagnostic unit in my P reg 850 estate and they seem to have hidden it..!!

It's not where the HAYNES manual says it should be (next to the washer resevoir)

Can anyone help please

The 1996 model is fully OBD-II and does not have the diagnostics port under the hood. Instead you must buy a code reader or go to autozone and get them to read your codes. The port is under that little coin holder thing to the front of the ashtray.

OBD-II port under the coin storage (the rubber part lifts up and out), under the ashtray.
