Steam cleaning interior is it good idea?

Steam cleaning interior is it good idea?

Hello Guys,
I had spent last weekend on improving visual appeal of my 850. Exterior comes out nicely. But interior is badly soiled.
Originally car had
1995 Volvo 850, Non Turbo

If you are talking about the carpets and cloth seats, then steam cleaning is OK. NEVER, EVER use steam on leather. If you think cotten shrinks in hot water, wait till you see what steam does to leather.
