First test drive

After about three weeks I finally had the gumtion to take Veronica for a test run. There is a school yard right behind where I am staying right now. So...no plates...no nothing...100m up the road to the yard. I pretend it is just another slalom I am going to. And...lo and behold...perfect. Three light poles in a parking area and a 300m straight on one side. Set the trans in economy did the loop. Good. Are in sport did the loop...much better. It was supposed to be a test as o had not had the opportunity to drive her until now. I am confident of her abilities and see no reason to be unsure. Only one issue I can hear. The telltale clucking of the cvj on the right side. I hope it is only due to the fact that it has been sitting for six months. Records show it was replaced at 150k it now has 180k as the memory tells me. Hopefully a little PB around the joints will help.I know a little Czekvar helps around my joints by Friday.
The PNP switch issue I have on occasion may also be due to inactivity. There were no issues or lights when I tossed her about. Switching between econ and sport had no hesitation. So the switch was good. Again...inactivity may have been the problem.
ABS light still on, 142. For the love of God. What are you at? 444 gone. I think the gremlins (amc) have her. My native friend says to burn cedar boughs for her to dispel evil spirits. Going out right now with the clippers.
