frost plug heater 93 940T?

Post by bskeels »

I am in the finishing touches of a head gasket for a 93 940 B230FT engine, I tried to put a Kat's frost plug heater (model 11401) into the first plug hole but could not make it seat flush, have put into the second hole, but when I fit the exhaust manifold to it the plug on the heater is right against the manifold, looking for any suggestions, I would like to have the heater, due to living in the Adirondack mountains of northern NY, but can live without it if I can't find another solution. Thanks

Consider this when installing freeze plugs.
