S60s Turbos and General Info

I've been toying with the idea of getting an S60. I read up on the transmission issues so I was looking at 2003+ and I'm aware some can still have trans problems up to 2007.

What about the engines, I know they went with a few different sizes: 2.3L, 2.4L. 2.5L. I want turbo either LPT or HPT.
Is there any engine choice to stay away from? Who makes the turbos for the S60s? Are they as reliable as the P80 series?
