height adjustment for rear edge of hood

I hit a pothole yesterday with my 2006 V70 (right front)... it was extreme like nothing else I have ever hit! I waited for a flat tire, but luckily, it did not happen. Also, I monitored for vibrations, noises, shimmy on highway, misaligned steering wheel... no issues with anything. But, when I exited the car, I noticed that the right hand edge of my hood was lifted/misaligned from the right front fender. It appears that I have to adjust the right front hood latch to bring it down alittle because there now is some "play" if I push down on the front of the hood. My question is that I cannot see any way to adjust the height of the hood on the right rear corner. It looks like when I push down the front corner, alot of the hood will align with the exception of that right rear corner.

I should also mention that when I doublechecked the situation when I got home, I noticed a "backwards" dent in my hood that ended up being caused by the tip of my strut top! There is absolutely no indication (under the hood) of any bent force trauma around that strut mount or the immediate area.

So back to my question.. any adjustment for the height of the back edge of the hood on a 2006 V70?

The car is going in for an alignment check... "just because"...

Man, you must have hit a doozy. My guess is that when the top of the strut contacted the underside of the hood that it tweaked the hood and/or hinge upward. The hinge "adjustment" may include the use of a piece of 2x4 and a big hammer, not hitting down on the top surface of the hood, but rather hitting down on the hinge where it bolts to the chassis.

Comparing the RH side to the LH, can you see any evidence that the hinge or chassis structure was stressed upward? Or that the hood substructure, where the hinge attaches, appears to be pulled downward?

No evidence of any movement, twist or anything. Only the little crowning dent in the hood skin above the strut tower... enough for miniature spider crack in the paint.

The shock was so violent, the upper seat mount stretched a lot and caused the strut rod (where the nut sits on top of it) hit upwards and bent the corner of the hood. I would have a look at the spring seat - pry it up carefully not to scrap the paint and look for cracks in the rubber and also look at both sides of the tire to check for any bubbling.
