A/C Low side valve leaks badly (replaced and still leaks)

My 1998 S70 T5 low side a/c valve leaks. I have replaced the valve twice but it still leaks. I noticed it is leaking through the threads. I don't see a sealing surface on the inside of the valve port. It looks just like a bike tire and if I keep turning the valve, it will keep going. Is there a way to put another valve port on top of this one? Is there a replacement valve as in, does this whole port screw off and you can screw in another one? Maybe an adapter or an extender or something to go on top of this one? Trying to avoid changing out the whole line.

I think all you can do is replace the inner valve otherwise youll have to replace the entire line. I would try some Teflon tape on the threads

Take off the plastic cap, match threads and get an acorn nut match. Teflon tape will help seal

It sounds like the valve threads stripped. You can get a threaded that might chase the threads but that will have to thread match of course.

I might have a left over pipe that will fit if you can get part number, too.

It's tough doing these because it's 50 bucks a time for AC charge each time you try something

Ok. So here is what I did. Teflon tape would not stay and it would actually fall down into the line. Bad juju there. I ended up using blue thread locker. It sealed the threads nicely and I can still remove the valve if needed. I also put an oring on the inside of the cap to help seal it. It seems to be working.
