740 leaking coolant somewhere under intake manifold

ok so i have a '91 740 8 valve n/a. it was leaking coolant from the upper EGR pipe but i replaced that and then when i tested it out i found that it is also leaking quite vigorously from somewhere under the intake manifold. are there any ideas to what it may be? it only leaks when the car is running. i have no idea where to start, i can't see anything b/c the manifold is in the way. any help would be appreciated.

Some years ago I had the same problem. It was the gasket between the intake manifold and the motorhead. My mechanic told me that the coolant is also circulating in the intake manifold, at leat in my B230A engine. So he changed the gasket.

i finally had the time to investigate the problem today with the aide of my neighbor that's a mechanic. it's the heater hose so i just have to fix that and i should be golden
