I have a 1996 Volvo 850 Turbo Wagon. It was damaged in a tornado over Christmas and insurance declared unsalvagable. The majority of damage was to the passenger pillar. Before the tornado the vehicle was running but had been siting there undriven for a couple of months. One of the fenders was bent enough that the hood will not open so I cant jump the battery to start the car. I am posting this because I would like to see if there is any interest in this car for parts. I am a student abroad at the moment and am only in town a few weeks out of the year. This vehicle has a lot of sentimental value to me as it was my first car but I can never drive it again and it will be several years before I can even think about getting another project car(Loans and all). In the mean time the vehicle will sit there and rot. I would like to think someone out there may get some use out of her. Im sure as hell not going to sell it to the junkyard for $200. Everything was working on it prior to the tornado. At the moment Im not 100% ready to sell the car but Im definitely considering it. Shes located outside Dallas Texas if anyone lives nearby. Anyone that wants to look at it will have to wait until the end of april and then the next opportunity will be christmas. Here are some pics (post tornado).
