3rd Row seat for V70

I may have access to a car being parted out that has a black 3rd Row seat. What parts do I need to pull to get a fully functioning seat unit?

1) Seat Back
2) Seat base
3) Seat belts

Anything else?

I think the attach points for the seat are needed too. I can take pics and post on my 1999

It is the same seat for a V70.

Be sure to get the little insert in the back of the second row passenger-side seat.

Zero replies in four years is not a very strong argument for inclusion.

Hopefully it will be there in a couple of days when I can get back to check it is all there.

The one piece not mentioned is how to remove the clip on the rear seat back. Any obvious tricks to that?

That part is not sold anymore
If you try to remove it from an existing seat it will break
You need the entire seatback from the donor car!
Without the receptacle in the seatback the 3rd seat will not lock and will be unusable

Thanks for the heads up JRL, and just glad I asked it as I'd probably break it trying to remove I it! I guess that needs to be the starting point as without that the rest is pointless.

Actually it is mentioned, just buried in the middle of the post. It is a simple slotted-lock setup just as you would expect for any plastic piece in a metal frame, but like the footpad on the floor of the driver's footwell the key is to know which way to push it:

"Also remove the latch guide in the back of the second row seat: with the second row seat up, push the trim down about ¼ inch, then it will basically fall right out."

In fact the plastic guide piece in the seatback is super easy to remove, I have removed a couple of them, it will not break if you are just a little bit careful. Neil you could go collecting at the junkyards.

I would pay close attention to the location in the seat you remove it from, so you know where to make the cuts in the acceptor seat. Under the fabric, all seatbacks are set up to accept the plastic piece. Again, explore at the yard if you want to confirm this, or to practice cutting the slot.
