Osteen Volvo Jacksonville Florida A+++++ Service

Post by June »

I can't say enough about the amazing treatment by Osteen Volvo (Jacksonville, Florida ) over the years. Though my current S80 T6 is a 2004 model my service advisor always has a new Volvo for me to drive even if only for the day. Mr. Mike Cody is my advisor, Calvin is my mechanic though Scott has also done some of the minor things and both always make me feel comfortable with anything by going over what is being done and like today showed me the old turbo plumbing that was hard and cracked causing the problem after the repair work was done before I paid the bill. Mike Cody quite often finds discounts and applies them without my asking. Mike has amazingly gotten Volvo to warranty two big jobs on long out of warranty vehicles for me, once on my V70 many years ago when I was going through a divorce and was having money trouble. He said at the time he couldn't in good faith let me drive out knowing I could get stranded or worse damage the engine. The car was in for a axle and the whole bill came in $100 less than price quoted for just the axle job alone. Also once more on my 2004 S80 he saved me $1000 by getting Volvo to fix the defective part past warranty, it was a flaw in the part. Calvin is one of their Expert Technicians working there for over twenty years. He really knows these cars and never tries to sell me the word. I usually just insist to do some services early like my oil no longer than 3 months or 3000 miles (full synthetic ). Working next to Mike Cody is Benjamin who is not my advisor but always talks to me and is quite knowledgeable about my car and usually helps me transition into the loaner Volvo. Then the last face I see is Linda who is the cashier and is responsible for the good coffee always fresh and nice biscotti assortment. The next day I always get a call from Stacy Gilded making sure all was completely perfect with my experience. Over the years I have used various Volvo dealers and I can say with no reservations Osteen Volvo is the best dealrship I have ever experienced and I have owned Buick, Cadillac, Lincoln, and Mercury cars as well. Volvo of Tampa (Tampa, Florida ) also gives excellent service but is more expensive noticeably for the full synthetic oil change. Otherwise treatment is as good as you can find. Ferman Volvo in Holliday, Florida disappointed me from what I have seen the one service experience with my sisters 2005 S80 T6, but they did make it right and filled her car up as a bonus for the poor treatment her car received. I was present at the drop off and pick up and was shocked. As I said they made it right, but when you spend the money shouldn't each car get prime treatment? They didn't even wash her car after the service work was done which is unheard-of at Volvo. They dropped the ball on that occasion and it could be an oddity that occurred. I just am not willing to give them my car when I can drive to Volvo of Tampa if I need service while I am visiting her. Happy Volvoing, June

That's great June!!

You really could " stretch " that synthetic oil service to 6 months/6000 as the oil is really that good. I go 12 months 15000 on SWMBOs BMW with a larger sump, but 6//6000 is still more than the Volvo spec.

This is especially true if you drive like a sensible person between 40-75 mph

Can I guilt you into saving some money by pointing out the extra shop waste and filter is going into a landfill too?

Glad you've found a good egg to service your car.
