The bill of sale and Dept of treasury import invoice have 1 digit difference in VIN , also told auto check says reconstructed in 2009, and base model, but nothing happened then? Told by Volvo dealership that VIN says came as 4 speed automatic, but was ordered from factory with stick.
I was told had turbo since I've had it, after members comment I want to mechanic today and he's correct it does not have turbo. Sorry for the error, not much of a car person.

You should get this sorted out before reselling or post both VINS here so a potential buyer could simply run them. Probably not a problem for an in state saleThe bill of sale and Dept of treasury import invoice have 1 digit difference in VIN
I wonder if the VIN discrepancy had something to do with ordering on the tourist program back before computers.
If 'rebuilt title' is the same as salvage title then that is important in some states.

Apologies, most comments here are meant to be constructive. I will say at least you have been directed towards figuring out what you need to do to market this car for a sale. "Enthusiasts" can be overly enthusiastic at times, unfortunately. Priority for you will be to straighten out the VIN problem and figure out why car has been flagged as having been in an accident and correct that, though the incorrect VIN may be doing that to you. Good luck! Car should be marketable after that and might very well be an attractive option for someone.
