Reset "Book service" message S80 2004

Hello everyone! My last post was in the 850GLT section.

Today I am sharing the sequence that worked for me for resetting the Book service message.

First:

-It works with any miles in the trip odometer (mine was zero because I tried several methods and ended resetting both counters several times)
- It DOES NOT matters if your door is open or you are using the service key or your normal key (which is the same but without the remote)
- It DOES work either in Trip 1 or trip 2.

Second... the sequence.

-Turn the ignition key to position I
- Press the reset trip button (just press it and keep it pressed, time is not an issue as long as you continue the sequence)
- Turn the ignition key to position II while keeping the trip button pressed
- Watch for the triangle with the exclamation symbol, wait a few seconds and it will start blinking. When it has blinked three times (!!!) release it and immediately press ONCE the trip button.
- Turn ignition key to I and then to 0

The reminder should have been reset to zero.
