XC90 A/C system works but no cold air

Post by Nikolai808 »

I have finally fixed the AC on XC90 2006 and I still do not have cold air. Here what was happening and what I have done:

My AC was going warm and I was filling up with refrigerant a couple of times and then I decided to put dye in the system. I was looking with glasses and flash light and found no leak. So I decided to replace O-rings on compressor and shredder valves on high side and low side. I noticed that condenser had a leak and I replaced that too and used all new O-rings. I vacuumed the system and it was holding between 28 and 30 for 20 min (on low side) on high side the arrow never moved towards zero - I have no leak anymore. I noticed when I was filling up refrigerant ac was getting colder as I was getting to a third can (340gr each - my system needed 1050gr which is 2.3lb) and then when I was close to filling in up the cold air turned to hot air and I thought I over charged it. I thought I was doing something wrong and I decided to give this to pros and let the ac repair shop do the magic; after they filled the system up to 2.3lb the ac is still blowing hot air - they did confirm that all the mechanical part is working: compressor and etc but the electronics do not control the system. I have climate control unit and rear ac. Rear ac is very cold now. I also have DD15, DD16, DD31, DD32, DD33 error codes. I removed the glove compartment and checked if the buttons control the dumper motor module and the others on the right side of the climate unit. All the mechanical parts are working and corresponding to buttons on the control module. All the flappers are closing and opening upon pressing the corresponding button.

I do not know anymore what else to do. When I had leaking condenser I could just fill up the can and ac would work as it should for a day or so. Once I replaced it with new one and have no leaks my ac only works in the rear.

here what VIDA says in the attached pictures. What are those readings mean?
the first image obviously states that i have those DMMs mounted - so it does recognize them.
the second one shows steps - I guess.
And the third is where the CCM is not able to finish the job and shows some information that i have to look into. Where to look?
