Leaving a car for 4 months...

I am leaving my XC90 V8 2005 for four months in the garage (going for a sabbatical to Europe). With older Volvos I disconnected the battery and usually could start the car after 3-5 months of no use. This car intimidates me: I could not even find the way to get to the battery. What should I do, short of hiring someone to come once a month and recharge the battery for 15 min, or so?
