OBD system "not ready" in 2000 V70

Post by SMJ »

All monitors are "not ready". Car (2000 Volvo V70) was jump started three months ago---if that was the trigger, plenty of opportunity to reset the monitors since that happened (initial instructions were to drive normally for a week or so). Is there a "drive cycle" for this specific model? (2000 V70)

Are you on an application like Torque? Seems odd that ALL monitors are "not ready," but on the Volvos I've used it on, most of them show up as "not ready" or unavailable. Maybe there's an issue with the OBD 2 connection.
I don't think a jump start would affect the ECU like that. You could try disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes to "reset" the car and see if that does anything.
