After 4years of driving with bilsteins HD, i had it with the HARSH ride. Took a chance and went with the Koni FSDs to replace the bilsteins.
I've had them on my C70 for about a month....they are truly amazing.
Its the best of both worlds....handling and comfort
At high speeds on uneven roads they give u soft damping....on bumpy roads at lower speeds they give u firm damping....the double valving is always adjusting the damping to the road surface.
Theres no other suspension system that can do that
Not bilsteins, not koni yellow adjustable, not any coilovers, etc.
Well worth the money

the koni fsd's are suposed to be with stock or eibach, but ive heard that these will give a really stiff ride and that using H&R's springs wont? whats the facts?

I know that changing the springs to eibach will be much stiffer than stock. I've never heard of H&R's though. My 850 turbo's ride is so hornery though I think any suspension upgrade would be an improvement. Just putting in IPD sway bars has significantly improved the ride (less jerking over bumps). I live in Houston, TX where the roads are as smooth as a seventh graders pick up lines at his first dance so I'm worried about comfort and handling.

FSD's are not to be used with lowering springs, AFAIK.
