Anyone please advsie.

Someone told me by changing the camshaft the a Volvo 850 2.3T to Volvo 850 GLT 20V N.A camshaft will improve the performance of the car.
Is it true? How should by done?

It is a common modification to swap the 2.4 non turbo cams into the 2.3 turbos. The gains are modest but not insignificant.

There are a number of small tricks that can add up but you really need to have the engine mapping changed with an ECU "tune" to take full advantage of them.

The camshafts are interchangeable without any other modifications. Just remove the old camshaft and install the replacement.

Thanks Lee for the advise.
There are many ECU mapping in the market, don't know which is the best without overloaded the engine.

I only know about ipd Volvo, any recommendations?

ARD Tuning is very good. The owner of ARD spent many years at IPD before going out on his own and he tends to tunes that are as good or better than IPD for a bit less money. He takes into account all of the modifications that you have made (camshafts, cam timing modifications, performance exhaust, performance injectors, etc.) when he sets it up.
