Fuel Problems still...2

Both fuses are good, but I still believe I have only the 1 power pump in the tank...there is nothing else on the tray on drivers side of car at all. -If I run a direct line to the pump terminal itself, that means pulling it out again which I do not really want to do so howabout just splicing in on the line to try it? Car does run a bit on starting fluid in air intake also for the ignition response.

You could, temporarily, splice into the live lead using a Scotchlock. Be sure to insulate the splice properly after removing the Scotchlock.

I am still puzzled by there being no main fuel pump.

fuel supply problems could be anything honestly. your inline pump could be dead or fuel filter clogged. if you have the tools i would suggest checking for fuel pressure or another way would be to unbolt the injector bar and have someone try to start the car. any pressure?

another thing is you could honestly have a bad throttle body or a bad sending unit for the injectors. if they dont open you're not going to start.

what year and model is it so i can give you further specifics?
