Access to 1988 760 GLE turn signals

Hey guys, long time no post. I'm about to buy driver and passenger side turn signal assemblies and I'm wondering how I should gain access to replace them? It's fairly crowded on both sides (battery on one, air filter box on the other) and I want to do it as easily as possible. Anyone have any good ideas?
