ok i'll drive for alittle while and the car runs fine then all of a sudden the car will go into neutral and wont give me any forward or reverse gears

stop the car turn it off let it sit for ten minutes and you get your gears back then go drive for a couple of minutes and you loose your gears again

dealer said they don't know, they just told me i need a brand new tranny

anyone ever here of this?

i have a 1999 S70 T5, great car

Aren't our transmissions managed by a computer? Check
ODB-II computer diagnostic trouble codes.

Do you have a flashing orange triangle on warning lights?

Have you checked the fluid level?
