1998 Volvo S70 GLT
215,000 miles with fresh upper-engine rebuild (valves, gaskets, timing belt, etc)
Only ever ran Mobil1 synthetic and filters in it for the last 100k, since I bought it.
Zero rust
Paint is amazing and shiny and always kept carefully touched-up. Exception is the bumpers and front spoiler which have some blemishes.
Interior and carpet is like-new.
New leather in front. Rear is good condition for age.
Heated power seats with sunroof. All works.
Keyless
Pretty much everything in this car works perfect, with exception to the tape mechanism in the CD head unit. It keeps reversing and then ejects whenever you put a real tape or an adapter in it. My guess is it just needs to be cleaned and lubricated.
New tires, windshield (had chips), exterior weather stripping (front to rear), windshield wiper arms (car wash paid $400 for those!), windshield wipers, blower motor, fuel pump, radiator, axle seals, boots, battery, and lots more.
Most receipts included for labor and parts.
Original window sticker and all manuals and brochure.
This car was NEVER modified.
Prior owner may have removed the fog lamps, as there is a switch for it and no lamps. No idea why they did that.
Would be a great car for a Volvo enthusiast or collector. For a 20 year old Volvo from the northern United States, it doesn't get much better than this. Local Volvo specialty shop had the owner commenting that the car didn't look like it had even been sat in.
It does and has had P0455 code on it since I bought it. All of you probably know it's a dumb emissions code that I never felt compelled to deal with because we don't have emissions testing in Minnesota and they don't check to see if the light is on.
Due the really pristine condition this car is in, engine rebuild, plus all of the new stuff (leather, parts, tires), I'm asking $6500. Serious offers only please.
