Any reviews of Torch Light Motors, Parlin, NJ

Post by theWIFES_S70 »

Apparently, this is your "pre-owned source for Volvos" here in the tri-state area...

I have a family member who will be looking at a few cars on their lot. Any insight about them? Thanks!

Thanks for the reply, oragex. I saw those. I was wondering if there were any MVS family opinions. I tend to trust the Volvo owners on here more than most.

I think that was the name of the place that was getting bashed pretty hard on here a few years back.

I read the same bashings on the Brickboard.
I test drove a V70 about 3 years ago and was glad they just threw me the keys.
It had a bad vibration on one corner so I curtailed the test drive.

A guy jumped in and went around the block, returned and said it had a bad tire.
I don't like pat answers.

I continued my journey to Autohaus in West Chester, Pennsylvania and drove a beautiful '07 with a SPOTLESS engine bay which smelled strongly of electrical fire.
...didn't buy that one either.

When you go south on the NJTurnpike and go over the very wide Driscoll Bridge (Raritan River) be in the right lane as you exit immediately. The place is not far away on the right. I forget the road's name.

If you want a cheap Volvo do a private sale. These places will never be good or cheap

If you want to good Volvo, as in clean retail, two options...

1 Change your first name to Evan - let the manna from Volvohanna find you.

2 Buy from Jim - JRL
