First the A/C goes, now the fan?

95 850 turbo wagon

So i lived in phoenix, arizona and the a/c died. we went to get it recharged and it worked for a few days and then died. I figure theres a major leak somewhere. However, I've moved to pennsylvania where a/c is not as critical. Generally if it's hot out, the windows go down and if it is cool, the fan blows with the airmix open. Whenever you turn on the fan, you hear a click (switch going) and then a second or two later the fan gets going. Now when i turn on the fan i hear the click and nothing alse, no fan moving, no grinding, it seems like there is no attempt to start it up.

any suggestions?

Download the 850 Service Manual...it's free and will help diagnose the fan issue. It's in the upper "sticky" section.

Your evaporator is shot, $1500.
Happens to every 850 and most S & V 70's

i could care less about the evaporator (the coolong system), i'm getting the warning lights (Rec and AC off lights flashing) tell me i need to run a diagnostic on the thing.
