removing injectors

So, im trying to check my injectors, i dont know how to remove them, after i unbolt them do i twist the injector or pull it straight out? i appreciate the help! thanks!

the manual says...

1. relieve pressure in the system
2. disconnect the cable from the battery
3. disconnect the electrical main cable connector to the injector
4. detach the fuel hoses to the fuel rail.
5. detach the fuel rail mounting bolts
6.lift the fuel rail/injector assembly (so thats a pull gently)
7. dont forget to replace the "o" rings when you put them back!
