V70XC rear shocks

Post by swaneez2 »

I need some fundamental clarification. the V70XC rear shocks are Nivomat, and there is no aftermarket replacement. But, are there non-Nivomat replacement shocks that will fit and work adequately. Have always wondered this. Thanks for the help,

There IS aftermarket replacement from Monroe & Sachs.OE is usually Sachs, but for some markets it can be Monroe.
You will need a conversion kit in order to install non-nivomats shocks(upper holders and different springs).

What year V70XC do you have? I have a serviceable set with new boots.
