2010 (or so) V70 XC70 wanted

Not in a hurry, but beginning search for replacement of my 2001 V70 T5 (which replaced 1987 760 Turbo). Thinking I am looking for a 2010 or thereabout - budget around $10k. Definitely want turbo; around 100k miles. Local dealers (not Volvo) say "good luck finding one". Any comments, recommendations, pro/con, are appreciated. I like to be an informed consumer. What is the value sweet-spot of year and cost for a Volvo wagon - should I consider a newer model?

If you want one, go try driving a 'P3' model first. The 3.2 engine non-turbo is a gas pig and a slug. Coming from a turbo T5 you will definitely be wanting. T6 is not much worse on mileage but goes way better. Not sure what years you might get a 2.5T in. I know we had a few XC70's up here 2016 model run outs with that engine.

After 2011 the 3.2s became a lot quicker with more low end grunt. 2008-2010s ARE dogs and I do NOT like them. There also are many other upgrades starting with the 2011 models incl. quicker ratio steering racks.
The 3.0 turbo is a nice engine!
