940 stalling problems

Hi - My trusty 940 Wentworth (UK) estate 1993 has developed a stalling problem.

I know this can be many things but if anyone could help me with the best place to start, it would be appreciated.

When revving the car it will intermittently drop in revs all the way down and stall, but not all of the time. Sometimes at lights, sometimes not.

I have recently changed a nipple on the breather hose that I snapped. Also I have blown a part on my dashboard circuit board when trying to fix a ABS bulb that wouldn
