V70 Door lock and temperature glitches

Hi,

I have a 2001 V70 that has an intermitent problem with the RH door lock being inop and making random clicking noises...at the same time the outside temperature will go blank...when the door starts working the temp comes back.

I tried disconnecting the battery w/o any change. I am figuring it might be a bad plug somewhere between the door and the computer. Any ideas?

Sounds like a short, but then you knew that.

Check the list, see if either of your problems have share a wire.

Nothing seems to fit on my list. With the affected services all in the same location, and affected at the same time, it sounds like a plug/connection issue...just wondering if anybody knows the location of the likely culprit.
