Volvo s80 t6 2001

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

Volvo s80 t6 2001

Post by Mriceland »

Hi there. I have a t6 2001 and it seems that my driver side window, sunroof, dor lock (only driver side, rest works) and power window driver side dont work. The siren goes on if i push the panick button and all the fuses look new. I preffer not to go to a dealer to get it fixed as it costs to much. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

The panic button works with the car's horns. The siren has a different sound (and it's really loud). I'd try first removing the fuse, see if the sunroof works, the cluster display will display a message than can be turned off at each start up.

Used modules off Ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/Volvo-OEM-Alar ... dQ&vxp=mtr

The link is for a new module. I bought a new module (for a bit over $110 as I recall) and installled it last summer. It cleared up my consistent 'alarm service required' at each start up. I don't have a sunroof but I think it's definitly worth a try to replace this module as they often go bad, good chance it will resolve your issue.
