I'm at a Swedish-themed coffeehouse

Fika Coffee in Parker, Colorado. Nice place. I had no idea of the Swedish theme but knew the place from popping in a couple years ago. I told them I drove the same Volvo for 17 years. They were unimpressed, but polite.

I went to a German coffee house, but they didn't have coffee, just beer and pretzels.

They must have translated it wrong. Germans don't do coffee houses. They do beer gardens.

Oh and by the way in Sweden it's called a "fik", the noun of the verb "fika". Though the more international café is more and more taking over.

Tell the people at the Fika place, if you go there again, that the clock isn't showing the proper time for Stockholm.
