I bought a replacement seat belt catch for my 2008 XC70 drivers seat. But there isn't enough room between the seat belt bolt and the console base to fit in a star angle wrench. The space is too tight.
How do I remove the old and install the new seat belt catch?
Thank you

- See the DIY I wrote below.
- Basically d/c the battery ground cable only before you d/c the seat belt connector.

- Note that the above is for XC90, the S60, V70 series connector (under the seat) is a bit different:
* Remove the T25 screw that holds the connector, then slide the whole thing out.
* Flip the cover up to disconnect the rectangular connector.
* Using a very small flat screwdriver, look at the new buckle for reference, then somehow push the old connector out.
* Watch the routing of the wire from the start (take photos) so you don't trap it when moving the seat forward and rearward.
