Sadly, I need to sell my 2004 S60R. It has less than 98k original miles with many upgrades and most common issues addressed. Take a look at some of the details on my WEBSITE if you are interested. With a value of $8,000 for this very clean low mileage car and the upgrades recently installed, I come up with a total value of almost $25,000. I would like to get $12,000 for it. I will be adding more details, including more pictures to the WEBSITE. Please let me know if you have any questions, suggestions or if there are any pictures you would like to see.

Volvo of Austin performed a pre-sales inspection on the car a couple of weeks ago. They did not find any major issues, but did note the following:
  1. Front brake pads are down to 3mm and will need to be replace in the near future ($30 to $75 depending on what pads you use, and <1 hour DIY to change)
  2. Rear brake pad are down to 3mm and will need to be replace in the near future ($30 to $75 depending on what pads you use, and <1 hour DIY to change)
  3. Steering wheel off center
o See pictures (This is a quick fix that does not require a full alignment, simply adjusting one side (out) the same amount as you adjust the other side (in) will fix the off center without changing the combined toe setting. Worst case it is a < 30 min DYI adjustment, 10 min if you have done it before.)
  4. Oil trap is leaking
o The leak must be very small, as there are no drips in my garage or driveway (this is a $20-$25 part that volvo recommends replacing at 100k)
o Replacing it looks like a 3-4 hour DIY per forum threads
  5. Angle gear leaking
o This also must be a very small seeping leak, as there are no drips and the level is full per their inspection
o I would recommend just going ahead and proactively changing the angle gear sleeve, because you would reseal at the same time.
o I have never had an issue, but did purchase a heavy duty angle gear and seal kit years ago. This one: https://www.pdvmotorsports.com/products ... 3458691157
o I had intended to address this when I finished the engine build. I would include this with the sale.
o It looks like a 2 hour DIY to reseal per forum threads
NOTE: The driveway drips in the pictures are from my daughter's A4. Something else to work on :-(.

I am reducing the price and including some additional items that I had purchased for the car. The new lower price is $10,500.00 and I will include at least the following:

• Heavy duty angle gear sleeve and seals
• Rearview Mirror (existing one is a little fuzzy on the top edge)
• Extra Pegasus wheel and Michelin Pilot Super Sport
• Lenovo Laptop with VIDA, ODBII interface and CFE configuration software

The three pages of dealer inspection results are at the bottom of the car details page. http://www.sshiggins.com/2004-volvo-s60r.html
