Hello,
I gave my 2004 xc90 to my stepson,who resides in Providence R.I.
I have done quite a bit of work on the vehicle but never could get the sunroof /maplight working, before he took it up there,I live in Va.
Well,to make a long story short(er) ,I need a shop or individual that is competent in the workings of the UEM / alarm / setup.
The sunroof won't open and has begun to leak some on the A pillars.I have already redone the drain tubes with aquarium tubing and resealed the fresh air duct in the front cowl.I am pretty sure the front drain holes are starting to clog up again, they were solidly blocked when I got the vehicle.
So,if anyone can direct me to someone that can fix the sunroof issue,it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve

By any chance could it be a fuse? The moonroof is fuse 26 and the lighting/alarms etc. is 27 in the panel at the driver side of the dash. Here's that part of the manual: https://volvo.custhelp.com/app/manuals/ ... /om_id/635 Fuses are p.145

As to your question; I am out west, so no idea on repair shop. There might be something on swedespeed XC90 forum about shops?

I checked all the fuses ,its doing the classic no sunroof ,no maplights thing.
The alarm works fine(I replaced)did the put the window down ,arm the alarm, reach in ,open door, the alarm sounds.
The main problems now are, that Im in Va and he's in RI....and the dealer is wanting to charge ridiculous rates ,to fix something that should have been a recall.
