A couple of the steel wheels on my base 855 have slight runout, one visibly bent. I've spotted a set of aluminums at the JY that look pretty good. Will they have the correct inset?

They should have. Most Volvo rims have all the data on the rear of them as part of the molding process. Look between the ribs on the backs of the spokes and it should be there.
Am offset of 36-49mm should be ok, but in a FWD you have to watch for the parking brake cables rubbing on the rear tires if they are not still held back by the plastic tiebacks to the trailing arms. A 43mm offset is usually the most common on a P80.
Neil.

Yep they will fit.
Newer models have the same bolt pattern and central bore but offset is different.
Like Neil said....as long as offset is 35-49 they will be ok as long as you stay with 205 width tyres with 49 offset.
With 35 offset you can get away with 225...and with 43...215 is MAX width.

Helpful info. Thanks! I've been running 195/65 15's on that car and am generally content with the roadability of them. I'll probably continue with that size.
At $36 per wheel and some usable rubber remaining on them, it still seems a bit superfluous, but if they're straight, plus the appearance factor, I think it's worth it. If my steel wheels were straight I probably wouldn't bother since they look okay with the full disc Volvo wheel covers.
