Brake Grind after control arm job on 2000 s70

Wife and i tackled the front control arms thos evening. Had to use a lot of penetrating oil to get the rusty bolts off. We swaped the arms, loaded the control arm bushings and torqued down the bolts. After putting the wheels back on, the front passesnger brake seems to be grinding pretty loudly. Maybe a sticky caliper? About at my wits end with the ol' S70 tonight. Thank you for any advice/help.

It'll be the back plate, probably where it goes between the ball joint and brake disc. They bend very easily, especially when they are a bit old and rusty. Usually you can cure it by sticking a long screwdriver through the wheel and pushing the backplate back a bit.

Richard nailed it above. Before you put the wheel back on , turn the wheel And watch the clearance on the back plate, pry it away with a screwdriver
