And post it here on MVS. They ran the C30 in road courses in the US a few years ago. If you've seen racing C30 photos, it's likely theirs. They've STILL GOT ONE in the shop.

Ok, he's the owner/COO of 3R Racing, not KPax. Anyway, here's a couple teasers while I work up the story.

I had a da*n good time making this article. Dax is a good dude who's forgotten more than I'll ever know about making cars fast. His shop is a mind-blower. This story is a crown jewel in the MVS crown. Ok, that's a little much, but I'm proud of it. I hope you enjoy it.
Dax Raub stands among the two dozen or so cars in his shop, pointing out an outrageous race Subaru STi over here, and an outrageous late-model custom street Camaro over there. Above it all, literally, is a racing Volvo C30 on a lift, outrageous in a somehow quieter way, despite its past fame as a rarity in North America: an actual Volvo-supplied, Volvo-supported race car.

Maybe it’s the pedestrian paint scheme, or that it’s difficult to gauge its capability from down low that makes it seem less aggressive than the other cars. Whatever the case, I’m here for this car.

A documentary film producer emailed me today about this race C30. He stumbled onto my article while researching this car. The C30 changed hands recently and is now back racing in the US Touring Car Championship. The new owner is Tim Hunter out of Newport Beach.
