Hi All,
I had some oil leaks diagnosed by the dealer as the turbo is having a problem with the centerpiece gaskets.
The turbo eventually got fixed but there is still white smoke and els...
I know that the PCV can be a thing so the line was checked and the box was replaced. Still, smoke and now I'm having a check engine light also with no message. Also, it seemed that it was consuming a lot of oil (1L for 100km).
The code will be read out on next working day.
I'm suspecting that we need to get down the oil pan to check if there is no issue with the oil flow.
Also the question is is there anyone who managed to stabilize that type of a problem?
Or I'm looking into an endless fight against this construction.

Get a clear diagnosis before you fork over more Forints.
Double check the color of the smoke. You sure it is White not Gray/Blue?
White smoke with a sweet smell is antifreeze.
Gray/Blue is oil and it can smell of oil.
Black is incomplete combustion and it can smell of fuel.
If it is Oil coming out the tail pipe, Piston rings or Valve stem seals.

Thanks for the advice.
After finding a new Volvo specific little workshop near my city things are getting clearer.
I could write that "wors" but now we are progressing with the diagnostics and the "rebuild".
Definitely not PCV and the turbo center part is now hanging again a little but it was definitely the piston rings.
The engine is completely broken (a waste...) especially the 4th cylinder
Now they will do a rebuild.
The whole problem was coming out after some repairs and the first oil change that was made during the repairs.
I was buying the car from a guy at the beginning of this summer and was driving maximum 2k KM.
To bad that the previous owner was adding some oil conditioner to hide the problem.

Exactly why one should let the engine run a couple of minutes before putting it in gear. The first couple of Km/miles is the heavy duty as everything get oiled and the temperature brings the mechanicals into spec. Giving it a head start on the oil up, makes a world of difference.
Average length of drive 30 Miles / 50KM = Light duty. Under that is progressively heavy duty. Average drive of 2km is super heavy duty.
For 2km average drive, get a Polestar.

The rebuild is done.
Engine head fully renewed as the cylinders were switched to new ones and also piston rings and all related gaskets, bearings and belts were changed to a new one.
The list of other changes that were needed relating to the mileage (308 000 Km ):
I had the first 1000 Km, so the oil was changed again after the engine rebuild.
Sadly after a car wash, I'm experiencing ABS sensor problems.
Also, there was a one occasion check engine alert related to the turbo pressure sensor.
My dream car is slowly getting a shape that I want
Thanks for the care!

The list of other changes that were needed relating to the mileage (308 000 Km ):
- Steering rack changed due to some signs of wear.
- Got a new set of front breaks installed.
- Automatic transmission fluid was changed. This one will be redone again with an automatic flush capable system.
