Volvo on call subscription will soon expire

Anybody know how to get rid of this message?

We got the 6 month free On Call when we bought the car, but did not subscribe, so the On Call has not been working in over two years. I realize that we still have roadside assistance and we are planning to renew that, but not On Call.

It took me getting permission from a Volvo NA manager who contacted my dealership's service manager to reprogram the computer as though the car never had Oncall in my case on my 2004 S80. I would have kept both my car phone and Oncall on even now, but Volvo dropped older cars years ago so we could not have it on. Your car can have it on, so they may not. Also it cost me a hour labor to add insult to injury!!!

What has your dealer service advisor told you thus far? June
