"Anti-Skid Service Required" message, BCM codes 0111 and A031
I read the codes with DICE and got a whole bunch of them on first read, so I reset them, and only got these two.
I followed up with SAS calibration, and noticed that when my steering wheel is straight ahead, SAS is reading 180 degrees angle. Turning the steering wheel to the right is what gets the angle to zero when wheel is upside down. I found another post where the advice is to calibrate SAS using VIDA with the steering wheel off, but wondering if there is a better option? Or is that the way to go, then reset SRS codes afterwards? SAS unit was indeed the problem. I picked another SAS/clockspring at Pick-n-Pull from an 06 V70. The part number on that unit was older than what's referenced for 2008 S60, but it appeared to be of the right kind (with DSTC), so I took a leap of faith on installing it. After re-connecting the battery, I cleared the initial rash of codes, and was pleased to see that SAS was measuring 0 degrees with steering wheel facing forward. Took the car out for a drive, and didn't have any Anti-skid or DSTC errors come up. My neighborhood streets are covered with sand right now, so traction control actually had to engage when I goosed the throttle a couple of times.
I ran another code scan after the test drive and everything showed clear. Even the dormant TPMS that previously was reporting 0 PSI from all sensors had decided that it was indeed receiving some pressure measurements. I suspect that won't last long, and will probably nag me until I replace the tires, but it's kind of nice to have no errors lighting up the dash board for the moment.

I saw multiple threads in this matter but no solutions. I got mine working and this is how (2006 V70 D5 136kw with DSTC):
First of all, I watched multiple youtube videos and read the entire internet. I was quite familiar what I was up against. I'd suggest you do the same.
Orientation: I was holding the unit so that the connector was facing me and was in lower left corner. The arrows were all pointing 90 degrees left.
1. If you open the SAS, you'll see multiple small arrows on discs/pegs/housings. When opening look for these small markings and take pictures or note them down. In the end, all the arrows must align into the same direction.
2. Dig trough the unit until you see the green circuit board, you'll notice the optical sensor "tower" and three stripes on it and next to it a mechanically moving part with one stripe. Align those two parts by turning the middle disc until the one stripe on mechanical part is raised/lowered matching the center line on "tower" part.
3. Raise the circuit board and lift up the middle disc and now you have to align it correctly meanwhile not screwing up the stripes alignment. If I remember correctly, middle disc did not have arrow on it, the arrow was on the lower disc peg that is going to protrude trough the middle disc. After multiple checks of three stripes and that the arrow on discs is pointing left, you can close the unit back up.
4. Install it on the car and check SAS parameters with VIDA. If you did correctly, everything should align and SAS shoud report 0deg. I have a car with DSTC so I ran special function under BCM and calibrated SAS, brake switch, yaw and so on....
5. install everything back toogether, take a test drive and enjoy.
English is not my first language, if something is hard to understand, feel free to ask and I'll try to explain differently.

Update:
10 000km later on winter roads and everything is OK.
When putting the SAS together, keep an eye on the flexible cable. Got mine wrong on the first try and ripped one of the tracks. Had to open the SAS up again and solder in a wire for replacement. Other than that, everything has worked flawlessly.
