Cougar Ace -> Tricolor

It's been a few months since the Cougar Ace listing with Mazdas on board. Anyway... by traversing web links I learned of a related incident involving the Tricolor Vessel in 2002. This incident was caused by a collision with another ship, sending it 25 meters underwater -- with hundreds of Volvos (and BMWs and Mercedes) on board.

The wreck underwent a salvage operation that involved cutting the ship into 9 sections and lifting them out of the water.

The funny thing is, both shipping incidents involve car makes under the Ford Motor Company: Volvo and Mazda. The Volvos on Tricolor had to be scrapped, and the Mazdas will be inspected and sold as used cars.
