I heard that this legends were using strong and not strong enough drugs. For example - https://premiumjane.com/cbd-gummies/ , what do you think guys is it okay when someone saying that rock stars must use drugs? I mean this phrase sex drugs rock n roll is overratted and I think that in any cases drugs are bad.

"Wine, women, and song" is a hendiatris that endorses hedonistic lifestyles or behaviors. A more modern form of the idea is often expressed as "sex and drugs and rock 'n' roll", a phrase popularized by British singer Ian Dury in his [1977] song of the same title.

Omar Khayyam addressed the trio in 1120 in his Rubaiyat, verse XII. For him singing was replaced by a book, but he acknowledged its importance for others.

A book, a woman, and a flask of wine:
The three make heaven for me; it may be thine
Is some sour place of singing cold and bare —
But then, I never said thy heaven was mine.

As translated by Richard Le Gallienne (1897)

Page acquired skills, and made use of them. If Beatles are examined, they too had skills. Ian Anderson...etc. Those with skills tended to succeed. And all of them spent countless hours practicing, listening to others, and reading about current events. A lot of music then was re-creations from others before them, or even "stolen" from their fellow musicians.

Page is just one of many who offered good music. Numerical sales is not relevant, imho. There are good performers who do not get the exposure, or whatever, and who only shine in limited areas. Rodrigo y Gabriela *Rodrigo Sanchez and Gabriela Quintero - aka - Rodrigo Y Gabriela), for instance, is quite talented, but the viewer must have an interest in his style:
