Well they’re not mine and I didn’t do anything to them, but I finally got a chance to talk to the owner about them. He lives down the alley.
  • 1995 850 manual, S80(?) wheels
  • ? 144 manual, aftermarket wheels he painted
  • 2006 XC70, not registered, he might sell it soon

Nice, I like the old 144 the best.

The rims on the 850 look like Centaurus ones. They are 16x7 and I think they came on C70's originally. You can recognize them by the little spikes sticking out between the spokes.

Yep. That 144 is awesome. The gauge cluster is really cool too, with the old school tachometer with the yellow-orange-red as you approach RPM limit.

I've been wanting to buy an RWD Volvo for years now, preferably a 240, but lately I've been looking at even older ones too. But then this S70 with manual popped up really close by. Somehow I can't get away from the P80's :)

Regarding the 144 - I'm assuming that's from the 1970's?

How many other cars from that time frame do you see still running, and with miles left to go?

Pretty amazing, but what do I know?
