1999 S70 GLT/ Indiana Craigslist

So they ask... what have you found on Craigslist? This.... a 1999 Volvo S70 GLT@DJ's auto exchange.com 300$ obo but, no keys ?clean title ?manual shift ?Kentucky plates ... probably from Louisville. Why don't they have keys? Why don't they call in the VIN# and have a key made? I don't know...

Hey abscate... really? 600? Here in the states a replacement key is 100$ from what I've been told by the parts counter at Volvo of Cincinnati. I was wanting to help the community here @MVS to show my gratitude for all the great advise I've received. Oh well..I tried. MDK

Yeah, but to sell it the seller would need a tow to the dealer, the key service $200, and then a tow back since the car s condition is “ ran when parked”. I figure $600 all in.

I agree if you bought it you could get a inop key for $50 then rope tow to dealer and keep it under $200

Yeah abscate..I just got off the phone with Volvo of Cincinnati...they said 100$ for the key.. and a programming .. about 250$ altogether plus the tow. It's really sorting out the title work. Could be a flood car.. burnt valves.. bad trans...way too many miles. It's just another mystery. But I like bringing things back to life. Hence the name...MDK.. good hunting gang. Peace

I thought it was bad kidneys..I hang out with Doctors too much.
